Your privacy is important to us. This document explains what data the shubh – Latest Hindi Names app collects, how it is used, and your choices.
The app is published for Android on the Google Play Store under the package ID com.pixelcount.hindibabynames.
1. Data we do not collect
The app does not:
- Require you to create an account or log in.
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details.
- Collect or store your contacts, photos, messages, or precise location.
- Upload your saved names list to our servers (it stays on your device).
We do not operate any custom backend server for this app.
2. Data stored on your device (saved names)
The app lets you mark baby names as saved/favourite.
- Saved names are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage (key‑value storage inside the app).
- This data is used only to show and manage your favourites within the app.
- Clearing app data, uninstalling the app, or resetting your device will remove this information.
We do not receive or share your saved names.
3. Analytics
The app does not include any custom analytics SDK (such as Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar) and does not send usage events to our own servers.
The Google Play Store and your device manufacturer may collect standard diagnostics and usage events as part of the operating system or store infrastructure; these are governed by their own privacy policies, not by this app.
4. Advertising (Google Mobile Ads)
The app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner advertisements.
- Ads are provided by Google and its advertising partners, not by us directly.
- AdMob may collect certain information, such as:
- Anonymous identifiers (for example, Advertising ID).
- Approximate location and device information (model, OS version, language, etc.).
- Interaction with ads (impressions, clicks).

Ad‑free builds
Some builds of the app may disable ads entirely (for example, promotional or paid builds). In these builds, the AdMob SDK is not used at runtime and no ad data is collected from within the app.
5. Children’s privacy
This app is intended for use by parents, guardians, and adults choosing baby names. It is not designed for unsupervised use by children.

6. Data sharing and retention
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data.
- We do not share any user‑identifiable data from this app with third parties other than:
- Google/AdMob as required to serve ads (see Section 4).
- Saved names remain on your device and are deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the app.
7. Security
We rely on the security of the Android operating system, the Google Play Store, and the underlying frameworks (Expo/React Native, Google Mobile Ads) to protect data handled by this app.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we do not intentionally collect or transmit sensitive personal information beyond what is required for ads as described above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this document and may also update the policy text on the Google Play Store listing.
You are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
