Dard Shayari is a Hindi shayari app. This policy explains how we handle your data.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. Your saved shayaris and preferences stay on your device only.
Data We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect from you:
- Name, email, or contact details
- Location
- Usage analytics or tracking
- Any personal information
Data Stored on Your Device
Saved shayari
When you save a shayari, it is stored only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not sent to our servers
- Is lost if you uninstall the app or clear app data
Advertising
The app displays ads provided by Google AdMob. When you use the app, Google may:
- Collect device identifiers (e.g. Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads
- Use cookies and similar technologies
- Process data according to Google's Privacy Policy
You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (e.g. Google Ads settings on Android).
Permissions
Media library (optional)
We request access to your photo gallery only when you tap “Download” to save a shayari image. This permission is used solely to save images to your device. We do not read or upload your photos.
You can decline and still use all other features (browse, save to app, copy, share).
Sharing
When you use Share, the system share sheet opens. The image or text you share is sent only to the app you choose (e.g. WhatsApp, Messages). We do not receive or store that data.

We load static shayari background images from Cloudflare’s infrastructure. When your device requests these images, Cloudflare may receive standard connection data (such as IP address, device/OS information, and request logs) to deliver the content and protect their network. We do not send any personal information or user‑generated content with these image requests.
The app does not use:
- Social login
- Cloud sync
- Analytics or tracking (other than via AdMob for ad serving)
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
